How to Find Relief That Lasts
Most people with hip pain hear the same advice. Rest it. Take something for it. Come back in six weeks if it still hurts.
That is why so many hips never actually get better.
In 2006 I had a herniated disc, three failed injections, and back surgery that failed two weeks later. It was a professor in physical therapy school who finally found the real problem. My right hip had stopped rotating. Nobody had thought to check it. Once we restored the hip, the back pain went away and stayed away.
That is the idea this book is built on. The place that hurts is not always the place that is broken.
