The winter of 2020/2021 I had a freak fall and separated my shoulder. The Florida surgeon and physical therapist looked at the MRI and told me that I had to have surgery. Since I could not move my dominant arm up to wash my hair or brush my teeth, I thought that I was doomed to 6 months of recovery after surgery.

I sent the MRI to Sarah for a second physical therapy opinion. She was firm in letting me know that she works with this type of injury all of the time and explained what she thought that she could do to help me.

Having no surgery, and just working with Sarah, I now have full range of motion in my shoulder! I know that the separation in my shoulder will never heal itself, but the strengthening of the area around my injury prevented surgery and gave me my life back.

My new surgeon in Grand Rapids told me that he could no longer justify doing surgery. He asked me for the contact information on Superior PT as he has patients from the Traverse City area. We drove 2 1/2 hours each way for my in person treatments.

Sarah Patterson and Superior prevented me from having 2 surgeries! I am forever grateful! Sarah absolutely knows what she needed to do to treat my conditions.
