Your MRI and Xray Findings Are Not Accurate at Describing the Problem Causing Your Pain

Imaging findings of spine degeneration are present in high proportions of asymptomatic individuals which increases with age.  Meaning in English that spinal degeneration also called stenosis, disc space narrowing, degenerative disc disease is present in a large amount of people who have no pain.  Therefore imaging of the spine is not an accurate indicator to determine if surgery is necessary.
