Study indicates physical therapy should be prescribed first for Low Back Pain Patients Before Xray, MRI, pain medications

This case study demonstrates that patients who have low back pain but do not have clinical red flags present (changes in bowel or bladder, nerve tension, foot drop) should not be recommended for surgery or be prescribed opioids medication. Instead physical therapy combined with anti-inflammatories.
